Renzo Piano & Mario Botta: Website Evaluations
Today, I will be looking at Renzo Piano and Mario Botta's websites and compare them. My criteria will be: style, colours which are used, technical aspects such as animation, and navigation furthermore, how comfortable it is for visitors.
Bellow possible to see the Home page of Renzo Piano's website, I like his design, we can see his company logo at the front so as a visitor I can understand who the website is and he adds the word "architecture" so it's possible to understand who is he and what he is doing. Also, there's a contact and menu bottom of the main page. Furthermore, the colour has a natural look here and the size is also suitable so they do not take a lot of attention but you can stray see them.
Also, if scroll down it's possible to see company projects. It seems very comfortable but when you scroll different text always comes up and goes away and because the colour is quite toxic and bright the attention gets lost. It's possible to see in the next pictures below. Arrows and headings come up and get lost, all the time when you scroll down and up this is uncomfortable for people for which hard to keep their attention in one place.
Mario Botta's Home page looks a little bit different, even though it has also big animation pictures as a background it also has a menu button design is different it's just 3 lines, also it contains the name and profession whereas the page looks like a little bit empty the text small and on some of the images it hard to see it because it partially merges with the background. But I love how the Font type looks it's very suitable.
Also, Renzo Piano has a very comfortable menu bar because the colour is absolutely different it's possible to clearly see the text also it is divided into 3 topic column so finding information is easier.
Mario Botta has got a very stylish menu bar I love this design it's minimalistic but looks brutal. Also in the pictures below possible to see that if u press the "project" or "profile" bar you have another option included in this topic and I like it even more than the 3 three-column way because you don't get lost in information.
