Blog Project Update/Website Evaluation

 Today, I am will be look on my project plan to check what I have completed and what I need to finish and do.

• Project Sign Off Post - completed
• Initial Research post - Zara Hadid - completed
• Project Plan - need to improve
• At least three research posts on other architects/location and environmental conditions - need one more post
• Development and research post - to be completed
• A post on your target market - the demographic of your area - to be completed
• Material and Sustainability Post - material you will use at least two process posts - need one more post
• Technical research post on software you will use - completed
• Post on creating your design boards for your gallery - to be completed
• Finalising your portfolio and adding to your website - to be completed

Planning stage:
● What were your initial ideas for creating a website? style / name / template

For my website I chose an architectural template which I liked, however, I made a couple of changes in the design and colour pallet of it for a more masculine and I love how the black and white website looks but not on my design so I added a colour photo so it give more life for it. My nickname It's my surname but I changed the emphasis on the letter "E", originally it's on the letter "O". 

● Do you have a tagline on your website?

My website is related to clients' target market. I created the website so my future clients can see what kind of work I do and can understand if they are interested in working with me.

● Which designers / artists (relevant to your continuation route) websites did you
look for inspiration?

● How many pages did you want to make on your website and why? Did that
change as you progressed onto the research / designing stage?

My website will contain "Home", "About", "Portfolio", and "Contacts" pages. In future, I will add more pages because my portfolio will be bigger and would be better to divide them into different columns.

Content:
● What is the purpose of your website?

The purpose of the website is to show my work and experience to people. If someone wants to work with me my website could help and save time for them. 

● Who are your potential website users?

My potential users are the same as the target market - customers.

● Why do you think it is important to have a digital portfolio website?

I think having a digital portfolio website is important because it's give a free trial for everyone who interested in your work. Also, it's a safe time for me and future customers because they just look at my website to understand what kind of work I do.

Design:
● Which design elements / tools did you use? (e.g.: infographics, fixed header,
static background image, navigation menu design, text boxes, image galleries,
social media feed) and why?

● Which template did you use in Wix and why?

I used architecture templates for my Website because I will be an architect and this design is better than everything else.

● How many pages does your website have and why?

My website will contain "Home", "About", "Portfolio", and "Contacts" pages. Maybe in future, I will add more pages because my portfolio will be bigger and It's will be a need to divide them into different columns.

● Are your pages connected / interlinked?

I haven't done it yet

● Is it easy to navigate?

Yes, my website has the most popular navigation bar and It's easy to find information that is needed for customers.

● Does the “Contact” page / email link work?
I still didn't have a test of my website
