Today, I created a sketch for my bridge. At the start, I had a couple bullet points about what I wanted to see in it:
- It should contain an ecosystem
- The material is supposed to be eco and sustainable
- Because of nature's location I wanted it to have a natural shape and as little as possible engels
- I want it to be 2 parts one part for cars and one for pedestrians
- I want no more than 2 support pillars
I already had experience with bridge buildings it was a suspension bridge for a college major project however it was more about its design and did not contain any dimensions or location details. To make it fly I inserted a large tube from aluminium inside the bridge and mountns. I thought about this system for my new bridge. The approximate length of it will be 3 times bigger than the old one. And it will fall down in 5 minutes if you use this type of support.

So, I started to create a sketch It was an improvisation with small pieces of ideas in my head. I started from the arch part which will be a car road and I thought to live place below for something more creative that pedestrians can use. Also, I draw my sketches digitally using MediBang Paint Pro.
Next, I started thinking about the lower part, and how to combine it with the ecosystem idea. I remembered the Louvre Museum and the Glass Triangle building. So I decided to make a 2-layer glass sphere and in the middle of it possibly place the ecosystem also the up part will be clear and the middle will contain glass creating the possibility to see the beauty of the surrounding environment.
Next, I started thinking about supporting the system. I tried to make a cable-stayed bridge. However, I do not like how the ground supports look also this type of bridge will have a small weight threshold. This fact does not fit my initial idea about this bridge. I want to make it strong, for ages so the ecosystem can grow with our planet and in future, it will be a part of history.
So I decided to add a support pillar because it seems like it's a mandatory need. The bridge will be more than 200 meters. For now, I do not know exactly the dimensions because Ukraine is now in a state of war and to find the correct dimensions need to apply Infrastructure restoration and development services in the Chernivtsi region or to the local government I still waiting for an answer from them.
I am satisfied with how my first sketch looked, in future I will improve it with dimensions and other information that I can get.
