Art Portfolio ONE: Project Statment
Today, I will do a project statement for my AP1 that was inspired by the topic of Earthly Delights. And ecosystems in a jar that create David Latimer.
David Latimer with 60-year-old terrarium
It will be a two-layer bridge. One of them is for pedestrians and the other for cars. This will be a cable-stayed bridge made from transparent concrete with recycled glass, acrylic or bioplastics (PLA-based) a triplex made of tempered glass and polycarbonate, recycled glass, and adobe bricks, the design idea will contain glass spheres with a close ecosystem which can exist without outside intervention, it will show the flow of time and growth within it. Using inspiration from Earthly Delights, bigger parts of materials will be sustainable and eco-friendly to line up the fact that nature is close to us and we must respect it also, it will be strong because sustainability in this type of building means lasting. The bridge location will be in Ukraine this project will be a restoration of the old bridge in a beautiful place full of other different wonders and it will be one of them in future. This place has tourists and it will be located on the 446th kilometre of the M-19 highway one of the main ones, the influx of people will be large and its use will be permanent. The project will include a 5-8 project board such as concept, elevations, materials, location and site plan and they will be made with Photoshop, Pixlr E, ArchiCAD and Sketch Up. This practice will help me improve my skills in this software. Furthermore, the addition will be a physical 3D model of a bridge made from wood, recycled glass and acrylic or bioplastics (PLA-based).
This project will be completed by 12/03/2025.
