Practice Advert: Golden fish
Practice Advert: Golden fish
Today, we are going to create a practice advert using the Pixlr editor online. This will be a charity advert. I began by choosing images on Unsplash that were copyright-free. I then opened Pixlr E. I then chose "create new." I went to the dialogue box and chose "print." I then chose a white background and clicked on "Create."
I then opened my image by clicking on 'Element', and 'Add media' and then I reduced the size of the photo by pulling the point from the side of the picture. So it fits the size of my main layer.
My next step was to go to Tailorbrands logo maker to create my logo for my fish charity. I created this logo called 'Golden Fish' which will be the name of my company. It's a small wordplay with the original type of fish name - goldfish. I changed the type fonts and colour, I think It's made it more harmonious.
I then added the logo to my canvas on Pixlr. I went to 'Element' and 'All media'. Before that, I cropped the white edges, making it look presentable. Then, I moved the logo into position and adjusted it using transform controls.
I then exported my final advert as png and you can see this here.
