Art Portfolio Two: Website Update

Today, I will update my website. I need to create a new portfolio page for a project that I'm handling right now. Furthermore, I want to change the home page background and make other small adjustments to make my website more comfortable for visitors.

I started from the Home page. I wanted to add one of my photo renders. First I added a light photo(see Fig1), but the quality of the picture gets really low, and I do not like the pixels. Furthermore, I do not think that this picture suits my website colour palette.

My next choice was better (see Fig2). This picture is darker and also has a suitable colour palette and looks more harmonious with the website overall.

Next I created a new portfolio page (see Fig3). I chose a template that I prefer and added a gallery where I would place my future boards, but for now, I added just a cover. Furthermore, I updated a phone mode because at the start everything was randomly placed there, so I organised everything (see Fig4).

Next, I started work on the portfolio gallery page. I changed the background because it looked boring and reorganised the project entrance buttons and photos (see Fig5). Also, I did the same step with a mobile mode (see Fig6)

After a couple of days, when my 3D models were ready and I started to do my final boards, I again upgraded my website. I added a description of my project. Furthermore, I uploaded my gallery and added a back button (see Fig7). Also, I updated my mobile mode, did a text style smaller and moved the picture a little bit(see Fig8).

Next, I added images for my Portfolio page slide gallery.

  1. On the homepage, make the work 'architecture' darker, its fading into the background. Updates are good so far, quite slick and certainly a better presentation than AP1 so far. Remember to republish as the last thing you do before the deadline!
