Art Portfolio: New scketch idea

Today, I will create new sketches for my bridge project according to the fact, that I can't use all my previous drawings because they are unsuitable for a location. Even if that would be something new I still want a design to express the name "The flow of time".

At the start, I still was very connected to glass ball ideas and I wanted this time to express endless beads, and pearls on a string. As I found that the length of the bridge will be more than 200m and the height from the river bottom will be 12 meters I chose a classic piers design. But now I need to catch people's attention with something different. I came up with this design. The sketch of it is possible to see below.

However, the problem is that 2 side roads must be 7 meters plus 2 meters of sidewalk. The radius of the balls will be at least 4.5 meters which shows that balls will touch water because o that they will grow algae. I do not like this fact and will look weird. The other option is to do semicircles, but I simply do not like this idea. My next sketch idea came to me during hypnagogia a long time ago. I absolutely forgot about this design however in the moment of stress that it's the second part of the term and I do not have a concept idea that I like I remembered it. It has an absolutely different design than I had before. It's something new and unusual. However, as I said at the start of my project I really like the idea of multiple-layer construction. The concept of this bridge is to have a car road on the bottom level and a pedestrian road on the top. From a safety side, this is the better way than having cars on the top. The sketch of it is possible to see below.

I love this idea I am happy that I remember it. However, it needs some details improvements. But the start is impressive and peaceful. But I think I wouldn't stop just on this idea if I come up with something better I will try it. Because this construction does not really show what I wanted to represent. The location is very enjoyable and full of natural beauty and this design is too brutal to show all this peaceful.
